for

For heroism while participating in aerial flight against an armed enemy during Operation Crimson Veil, Phase 05-26. Captain T. Fitch distinguished himself while serving as the primary transport helicopter pilot for Joint Task Force Bronze. Under direct enemy fire and in a heavily jammed environment, Captain Fitch maintained a precise hover over a contested objective to fastrope a critical asset into the fight, enabling the rally of friendly ground forces and their successful break contact. His exceptional airmanship, courage, and composure under direct enemy action were instrumental to the success of the mission. Captain Fitch’s actions reflect great credit upon himself, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and Joint Task Force Bronze.
